Every scale is
constructed in the same way.

C D E F G A B C
C scale. C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C.
From the note C to the note D - there is a black key in between -
(C sharp). C to D is called a TONE.
From the note D to the note E - there is a black key in between - (D sharp).
TONE
From the note E to the note F - there is no black key in between.
E to F is called a SEMITONE.
From the note F to the note G - there is a black key in between - (F sharp).
TONE
From the note G to the note A - there is a black key in between - (G sharp).
TONE
From the note A to the note B - there is a black key in between - (A sharp).
TONE
From the note B to the note C - there is no black key in between -
(SEMITONE)
So the scale is constructed:
Tone, tone, semitone, tone, tone, tone, semitone.
All major scales are constructed in the same way.
